What drives the number

On-site merch printing pricing, explained.

Pricing is quote-based because an on-site line is priced by the plan, not by a shelf. A backyard party and a two-day trade-show activation both count as "on-site," and they cost very differently. Here is what moves the estimate.

Quote inputs

The six things we price against.

Event hours

Staffing is billed across setup, live operation, and teardown. A four-hour printing window is really a longer day once load-in and load-out are counted, and the hours drive the crew cost.

Stations & operators

Bigger crowds need more presses and more hands to keep the line moving. Two stations and two operators cost more than one, but they roughly double throughput.

Blanks

A Bella+Canvas 3001 tee, a Richardson 112 cap, and an engraved tumbler sit at different price points. Whether we source the blanks or you supply them changes the total.

Artwork prep

Clean vector art presses straight away. Files that need cleanup, digitizing for embroidery, or a name-and-number menu add prep time before the date.

Travel

Local SoCal events skip the travel fee. Outside the OC, LA, and SD radius adds $900, and multi-day or fly-out programs are quoted individually.

Throughput target

If you need 300 guests served in a three-hour window, the station count and pre-staging plan are built to hit it. The throughput goal shapes the whole setup.

The honest version

Why we don't post a flat price.

A single sticker price would either overcharge the small party or undersell the big activation. Instead we take your venue, guest count, and target products and build the specific station plan — presses, operators, blanks, and travel — so the quote reflects the actual load-in and run, not an average that fits nobody.

The fastest way to a real number: send the date, the city, the rough guest count, and what you want printed. We come back within a business day with a plan and a price.
